Brass Doesn't Stand a Chance

I've painted many brass candlesticks, some simple, some elaborate, some I painted black, some I painted turquoise, some red, it just depends on my mood or where to use them. But I really like how this one turned out. It is pretty elaborate and I painted it white but also put a glaze on it. At first, I also added some embellishments, crystals, etc...but I decided I liked it better just like this. Of course, I had to make some beeswax candles for it!

Thanks again to Kathleen at Faded Charm for hosting another White Wednesday. Stop by and check out these amazing White Wednesday posts!

  13. Hi Pam...Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to leave a comment, loved it!!
you are way to cute, I have your number on the brass, and if it has great appeal or even stately clean lines it will be painted over here as well.

Sometimes I will strip it and let it take on an old patina, this way it has European Flea Market appeal, it will mix with many shades of whites and look less mass produced with an out dated look!

I love your bold approach to your art.

See you soon, and I am going back to your blog to snoop around a bit :)
