Markings Memorialized Mosaic

You know how we are always trying to organize our memories? Photos, children's art, greeting cards, vacation mementos....the list goes on and on. Well, being a long-time collector of antique dishes, I've had to lighten the load, shall we say. I still love them and I'll guarantee you I will LOOK at them in an antique store. I still have some and I do like to decorate with them. Tastes do change and I like different ones now. But a while back, I made a mosaic of broken dishes. (I did not break mine--what I used was already broken). I liked the idea of placing some of the pieces backwards that showed the china markings. That way, maybe I can always REMEMBER some of my collections. Also, for my taste, I liked using monochromatic colors of white and beige instead of using all bright colors.

Of course, it is a little hard to eat soup on it.

Before I FORGET it, I want to link with Kathleen at Faded Charm for White Wednesday and then go for a look there...so much beauty, so little time!
