White Wednesday

I thought I would add something to the White Wednesday posts since I love to decorate with white. My antique church railing is a great room divider and has many uses. It was actually in a yard when I found it and bought it years ago. I painted it and sweet hubby added shelves on one side and huge rolling wheels so I can move it although it is VERY heavy. I love the gothic shapes. Right now it stores magazines and decorating books, but it is also very handy as a bar or server.

Don't forget to run over to Kathleen's blog Faded Charm and see other participants.

Another snowfall in Texas!

Doggies

The photo of the dalmation has gotten me to thinking about dogs this week. So I thought I would post this photo of a tiny (it is only about 2" wide) nicho in memory of our Boston Terrier, Bulgier. I drew a primitive picture of a religious woman and added a few little things (sequins, cross, etc.) and a china figure of a little Boston that my friend Becky gave me. So here is my "Heavenly Dog."

Some kind of dispenser?

Does anybody know what this is? Have you ever seen one like it? It is brass and heavy faceted glass and looks vintage. I put dishwasher soap in it to show the glass. It is 12" tall and the little drip tray can be removed when the top is unscrewed.

Bling - a - ding - ding

Found this little cabinet to display "clustres" of vintage rhinestone brooches, earrings and shoe clips. Of course, I am no expert on vintage jewelry....Amy is. She has amassed a huge collection here. But I do like what I have gathered! And everyone knows I like to put vintage shoe clips on my crocs....

Perfume Bottles

I have always loved old bottles. In fact, my first memory of a toy was an old bottle I had found. My cousin tried to break it (just for meanness) and I hit him with it. Needless to say, I was in real trouble for that. Anyway, here are some old perfume bottles I have found. The sunflower one is pristine, but the other two have chips. I think they are beautiful nonetheless! They will be at the shop soon.
